What We Do

Crafted for Anderson Homes & Businesses

Whether you need a hand-forged gate to welcome guests or a custom table built from reclaimed timber, we bring the same devotion to every piece.

Custom Ironwork

Gates, railings, balconies, and architectural accents — each piece hand-forged to complement Anderson's character.

Woodcraft Furniture

Tables, shelves, and statement pieces from sustainably sourced hardwoods — built to outlast trends and become heirlooms.

Restoration & Repair

Brought back to life — whether it's a century-old porch railing or a cherished wooden piece, we preserve what matters.

Architectural Metalwork

Commercial and residential structural accents — from staircases to facades, engineered for beauty and built to last.

Decorative Pieces

Sculptural art, fireplace surrounds, and one-of-a-kind accents that turn a house into a home with personality.

Consultation & Design

Not sure what you need? We'll walk through your vision, materials, and budget — and sketch out a plan that works.

Our Story

Rooted in Anderson.
Forged with Purpose.

Anderson Ironworks & Woodcraft Design grew out of a simple belief: the best work comes from people who care about the ground they stand on. We've spent over two decades shaping metal and wood right here in Madison County — and every project carries that same local pride.

Our workshop on Locust Street has been a place where apprentices become masters, where ideas take shape, and where Anderson's architectural character gets a handcrafted contribution. We don't rush. We don't cut corners. And we don't consider a job done until it makes us proud to put our name on it.

Kind Words

What Our Neighbors Say

"They replaced our entire front gate and the side railing. The attention to detail is unreal — every curve, every weld, it all feels intentional. Our street looks like it belongs in a different neighborhood now."

"I needed a custom bookshelf that could handle heavy architectural books and look good doing it. They showed up with a design I didn't even think of — reclaimed oak with an iron frame. Absolute perfection."

S.K.

"We hired them for our restaurant's interior — iron light fixtures, a custom bar, and wood paneling. The whole space feels like it was designed around the pieces, not the other way around. Outstanding work."
